The Youniverse

Why deny it? We are gods!

The main reason we deny our godliness is because we have an inaccurate idea of what god actually is. God is the infinite being, containing everything there is, was, and ever will be. This obviously must include us.

This realization isn’t about denying our imperfect selves or our imperfect lives, or the imperfection of others and their lives; it’s about realizing that the imperfect self and life is also a part of god. It is about opening up our perception of what god is so that it includes everything and excludes nothing. This is god consciousness. It is seeing everything and everyone as a part of you and it is embracing all as a part of you. This is the consciousness of Oneness.

God is in equal parts the small and the great. In fact, it is in the context of growing and expanding from small to great that god can actually be experienced. If god was nothing but the greatest it could not experience its greatness or even know that it exists.

The experience of god or of existence itself happens in the process of change, because all experience happens within the context of other experiences. For god to experience its existence it must change and grow in its awareness of itself. For this to be possible, god must be something lesser at some point and grow into its greatness. This is where we are. We are god experiencing itself through the process of growth in each of our lives. We are god seeking to grow in awareness so that we include more and more of ourselves. This is why each and every one of us strives to be greater than we were and reach higher and higher. It is also why we seek to unite with others in harmony. It is in our nature to do so.

So, the idea is to stop judging ourselves for being where we are. We are not any less godly because we are in poverty or sickness or limitation. We are not any less great or powerful because of our current situations. It is not where we are that matters, but where we’re going. It is about how we respond to where you are right now that matters. We can choose to respond to them as the gods that we are. We can embrace ourselves unconditionally, and move forward at the same time. We can remember the gods that we are and allow ourselves to grow into the highest ideas we have of ourselves right now. Once we become and experience those highest versions of ourselves we will become aware of higher versions to become still, and this shall go on forevermore.

This is the path of god. It is eternal growth and expansion. The experience of god is all about the journey, because the journey is infinite and unending. It cannot end because all experience happens in journeys, and it is experience we are after. We want to experience ourselves, over and over again. To exist is to experience existence. To experience existence is to change and grow. This is the true nature of all of existence. It is all changing and growing.

Now, when each of us declares and admits our godliness others may try to question or doubt our divine nature and our greatness, based on the appearance of our current life situations or based on who we’ve been. They may wonder how we can claim to be the great gods we are if we look like any regular human being, or if we’re living from paycheque to paycheque or bedridden with illness. Yet their words won’t matter anymore. Now we’ll see that it is their limited idea of god that doesn’t allow them to see the god in us or the god in themselves. In this state of consciousness we will let go of our limited idea of ourselves and embrace our true nature. We will move into the state of godliness, and we will grow and expand, ever more quickly, joyfully and lovingly, for eternity.

Our Contradictory Efforts

What is the point of effort if that effort stems from a negative attitude? Any effort is usually created from a desire to improve the current situation, but there must first be a strong belief that the current situation is impermanent and can be improved, otherwise there would be no point in making the effort in the first place. So if you are currently unhappy with your life you must see the potential to be happy, otherwise what’s the point of going on? Moreover, if you truly and vividly see the potential for improvement in your current unsatisfactory situation, and a potential to experience a situation you prefer, why have a negative attitude? Why not focus on the desired improvement and move in that direction fully, with a positive attitude?

A lot of our pain and negative attitude is associated with second-guessing Life. We live to launch and fulfill desires, but most of us doubt Life’s capability to fulfill those desires. As a result we are mentally torn. We focus on problems, competition, conflict, lack, limitations, disease, and all manner of negativity and yet somehow still hold out hope that our dreams will one day be fulfilled.

Our efforts reflect this torn mentality. For the most part they lack conviction in the belief in the positive outcomes we desire. They predominantly stem from a negative mindset and are contradictory in nature. So most of us do not move boldly towards our authentic dreams, but rather work to deny them and instead attempt to protect ourselves from the pain and negativity that we truly believe in. It’s no wonder most of us feel like crap.

Life continually causes desires for improvement because it has the unending capability to be improved. As Abraham Hicks would say, ask and it is given! Hold that positive mental attitude and create that positive state of being. Believe in your dreams, so much so that you are constantly and effortlessly talking about them and looking forward to them with true positive expectation. Live from that positive expectation and optimism. Believe in the infinite, unlimited unfoldment of yourself and of Life. It is what you are truly aiming for. Anything less will always leave you feeling sort of empty.

Nothing else matters.
Just watch how fast the things in your life crumble when you’re not in a positive state of being.
The things in your life that you thought made you happy can lose that power pretty quickly if you’re in a crappy mood. Relationships, possessions, even health can be useless to you when you’re not in an emotional state to enjoy and appreciate them.
So was it really the things that made you happy in the first place? View Larger

Life seeks balance in all things. To live is to be in balance from within and from without.
This is why you cannot deny or avoid your dreams and still live a healthy and successful Life. You cannot talk yourself out of your dreams, settle for something else, and pretend that you are alright. To try to do so is to be out of balance.
To not follow your dreams, preferences and your joys is to be out of balance. It is to be miserable and to keep yourself in misery. This misery is the feeling of contradicting the flow and the nature of Life itself.
Life causes you to have preferences and desires, and holds within it everything necessary in order to fulfill those preferences and desires. Otherwise it would be imbalanced and not like Life at all.

Physical Action is Overrated

Nobody controls their life through physical action alone. There is always a mental/spiritual aspect to every experience.

If there is an undue amount of emphasis on physical action then there is a greater chance of developing negative mental tendencies, such as paranoia and depression, because it doesn’t take much life experience to realize how little our physical actions actually control. An undue amount of focus on physical action also creates lots of unnecessary action, usually in the form of attempting to push things this way and pull things that way to try to make everything work. Yet very little positive experience is created in this way. For example, a person may use physical action to set up a store to sell stuff, but they cannot use physical action to ensure people come into the store or buy the stuff they’re selling.

And yet how much energy is spent on trying to physically control the very things that we are incapable of controlling? The unnecessary physical action  of attempting to control and the mental worrying that comes with the inevitable failure is one of the prime reasons people get tired out from Life. There is simply no end to the actions we will think are necessary to protect us from our vulnerability. It is a bottomless pit of misery, should we decide to march down the path of control.

It’s pretty clear then that two choices arise out of the undeniable fact that nobody is capable of controlling Life through physical action alone. Either we develop positive trust in all the aspects of Life we do not control, or we develop negative trust in those aspects. Whether we use science, religion or spirituality or whatever other tool to create that trust is irrelevant. But in order to create a positive Life experience we must positively trust in all the aspects of Life we do not physically control.

We must let go of our attempts to control everything and live in an open state of vulnerable trust. We are vulnerable. That is an undeniable fact. No amount of money or education or technology can protect us fully or allow us to physically control all of Life. So we must develop positive mental trust in the universe and Life at large.

(This obviously falls in line with the whole Law of Attraction and creating our reality idea. It is not our physical action alone that creates our experience, but mostly our beliefs, emotions and vibration.)

It is actually very arrogant to believe in true limitation. It is arrogant to believe that somehow we can outgrow Life itself by holding a desire that Life cannot fulfill. To believe in our limitation is to believe in Life’s limitation. To believe in Life’s limitation is to believe that it cannot be larger than our limited perception. This is sheer arrogance.

To be humble then, is to constantly follow our dreams and our desires with the belief that Life somehow is grand enough to contain the fulfillment of those dreams and desires and any other dreams and desires we will hold, for eternity. It is also holding no expectations of how Life will express the fulfillment of those desires, because of the understanding that Life is grand enough to work in ways that we currently cannot perceive.

So be humble by being bold. Be humble by being curious. Be humble by being creative. Be humble by being a dreamer. Be humble by being open to the unexpected and, by association, to Life itself. Follow your dreams and believe in the infinite grandness of Life.

It is not about becoming abundant; it is about uncovering the abundance that is already here.

It is not about becoming intelligent; it is about uncovering the intelligence that is already here.

It is not about becoming brave; it is about uncovering the bravery that is already here.

It is not about becoming joyful; it is about uncovering the joy that is already here.

It is not about becoming confident; it is about uncovering the confidence that is already here.

It is not about becoming expanded; it is about uncovering the expansion that is already here.

It is not about becoming passionate; it is about uncovering the passion that is already here.

It is not about becoming supported; it is about uncovering the support that is already here.

It is not about becoming free; it is about uncovering the freedom that is already here.

It is not about becoming healthy; it is about uncovering the health that is already here.

It is not about becoming loved; it is about uncovering the love that is already here.

It is not about wanting; it is about uncovering the fact that we already have it.

We already contain everything we desire. Our world already contains an infinite number of experiences, some of which also represent our desire. Life itself already contains an infinite number of experiences.

Our desire does not create ourselves anew, but rather uncovers another aspect of what we already contain. Our desire does not create the world anew, but rather uncovers another aspect of what the world already contains. Our desire does not create Life anew, but rather uncovers another aspect of what Life already contains.

This is a completely different perspective from our current limited perspective. Now, we can be seen as what we actually are: beings that contain an infinite number of possibilities, waiting for us to uncover them. The world can be seen as what it actually is: a field of infinite possibilities, waiting for us to uncover them. Life can be seen as what it actually is: an even larger field of an infinite number of possibilities, waiting for us to uncover them as well.

If we went back in time, we would tell the people of the past that they already contain the ability to create all the great things we have created today. It is only their limited perspective of themselves and their world that stops them from seeing this potential ability. Similarly, if our future selves came back to our present time, they would tell us the same thing. We, and our world, already contain what we wish to be and experience in the future. It is only our limited perspective that is stopping us from seeing this right now.

Of course your desire will be unrealistic at first; that is why you’re desiring it. If it was realistic, what you desire would be your reality already and you wouldn’t need to desire it! So don’t get swayed from your desire just because it isn’t your current reality. Keep it strong, because it is only those desires that are truly and fully desired that then become our reality.
