“If your awareness is on another, whatever your thought pattern about them, your awareness experiences it as you. It does not differentiate between your thoughts about someone else and thoughts about yourself. It simple focuses on whatever is before it and makes it more real. That is why I ask you to be aware of what you are thinking. When you turn conscious awareness on itself, what happens is enlightenment. Pure, conscious awareness, focusing on itself, makes awareness expand, grow, and become stronger. That which your concentrate on lights up”—
“First use conscious imagination to imagine what you want, and then put the power of your awareness on those images to make them manifest. Your conscious awareness is always focused on something, whether you are aware of it or not. That is its nature. Most of the time awareness is focused on whatever you are thinking about. Whatever it lights up makes stronger, connects you to more definitely, and brings closer to your reality. Thoughts are the building blocks of what you experience.”—
“Reading brings intellectual learning. Revelation, the understanding of what is really going on, is experiential, and you have to decide to experience it. You have been tricked into believing that you are only a physical body. But you are not. You are pure, conscious awareness, manifesting in and around the body.”—
After experiencing some stress associated with a malfunctioning passenger seat of my car I realized that the reason I experienced the stress was because of a perceived lack of money in my life. That stress and many of the other stresses in my life are due to the perception of a lack of abundance.
Now, I realize why I have created those “wrong” experiences in my life. Every one of them have brought up a fear that I have yet to acknowledge. It is the fear of not having enough resources to deal with the experiences in the way I would prefer to.
I am feeling a sense of relief and a sense of discovery as I write this. What first seemed like a bad experience has turned out to be one that I appreciate :)
“In the ultimate perversive thought we have believed that life itself is imperfect and has no way of sustaining itself. We believe that we will be extinguished and somehow become non-existant upon our physical death. We actually believe that there is a lack of that which gives us life and that existence can somehow become non-existence. This just shows the depth of our confusion.”—
“Gratitude is the acknowledgment of the good that you have received in your experience. As you focus on and acknowledge these portions of your life, similar experiences continue to flow into your life. What you focus on appreciates. Focus on the things you are grateful for and you will continue to experience more things to be grateful for.”—
What we focus on, through our beliefs, emotions and perceptions could be considered our desire to the universe. It is what we radiate outwards. The solution to that desire is the experience of our lives. Both are two sides of the same equation. What we put out is what we get back. Sort of like “what goes around comes back around” I guess. So it is important to get in touch with what we are radiating if we want to be able to create what type of experience we receive back.
In viewing ourselves as incomplete, we have also viewed the universe or the field of existence as incomplete. This is why we have unsatisfied desires and unanswered questions. It is why we have poverty, incurable diseases, violence and our negative experience of death.
We believe that the solutions to our problems lie somewhere “out there” and that we have to make them out of nothing. And so we struggle mightily at finding and making these solutions, sometimes giving up under the reasoning of “that’s just the way life is….”.
I now realize that we have been living a lie. The truth is that the universe or existence is the definition of completeness. It is complete unto itself. Where would existence look to find that which it needs to be complete? There is nothing outside of it. The solution for its desire can and only will be found within it. In this way we can see that desire and its solution are two sides of the same equation and they balance each other out. The same goes for a question and its answer. One cannot exist without the other. In actuality, both sides are one thing separated to create the illusion of two things.
So what does this mean then? It means celebrating when we have a desire, knowing that the solution for it is within us and only requires us uncovering it. It also means rejoicing for the same reason when we ask a question. It means the end of struggling for the other end of our asking or desiring and perceiving every situation and everyone as complete and whole.
The more I think things through, the more I am absolutely awestruck at how incredibly amazing life is. It’s not very often that I get this feeling, especially when going about a hum-drum life, but now, when considering the grandness, the beauty and the genius of it all, it makes me unbelievably grateful to be alive and to experience this wonderful life. I sincerely want everyone else to come to these realizations for themselves. It is truly an amazing experience and I know I will not be the same ever again. It just makes me smile :)
Allow yourself to be your true, natural self. Allow your life to flow through you, bringing you an endlessly expanding series of ecstatic events to experience. All is well. There is no need to resist or protect yourself from what you perceive to be threats around you. Your resistance of these threats and your definition of them as threats is what entrenches them and empowers them within your experience. You are safe, unless you don’t believe you are. You always have been safe and always will be.
You are an integral part within the totality of existence. Treat yourself with the love and respect you deserve as this integral part. Your life can be effortless if you allow it to be. You cannot make your life effortless, but you can allow it to be. Allowance is key. It is a statement from you declaring your belief in a benevolent universe. It is a statement of your belief in yourself. Allowing is the opposite of what you have been doing all your life. It is simultaneously the easiest and hardest thing you will ever do in your life. It is the easiest because you will let go of who you think you need to be and just be yourself in every moment, only doing what you want to do. It is the hardest because you will be attempting to let go of all of the habits you have built up when you were figuring out how to fit in to the world. Be yourself and become the unique shape that you are, fitting in perfectly in the puzzle that is the universe.
Remember, the universe is infinite. You will get anything you choose to experience in your life, without question. Do not for a second think that you need to fulfill a requirement for the things you desire. That is the old way. The universe is infinite and has no need to pick and choose who to give certain things to. It will give anyone everything that they choose. We humans, on the other hand, do not believe in the infiniteness of the universe and so we compete, hoard and dominate in order to corner all that we desire. We have had requirements from others in exchange for our perceived finite goods. We are constantly under the pressure of a perception of lack. This is an illusion created by us and it can be seen to be one by reminding yourself of the infiniteness of the universe.
You do not need to resist any longer. You do not need to compete any longer. You do not need to fear or doubt or struggle. You do not need to make anything happen. Simply allow your life to unfold in what will seem to be a magical way. Let go of who you thought you were and simply be who you know you are.
True responsibility is accepting everything that happens in your life. It is knowing that everything that happens, happens for your reason and should then be accepted as a part of your life. It is the end of victimhood and the beginning of creator-hood. It is the path to becoming the conscious creator of your life.
Responsibility means the ability to respond. You can only do this if you accept every situation rather than resisting it and projecting it onto external sources. You can then give the situation the meaning you prefer. By doing so you take back your power to define circumstances and situations and can then can use that power to generate whatever effect you desire from your life.
How do you do this? First, realize that every situation is fundamentally neutral and devoid of meaning. It doesn’t have any meaning in it at all. You have been taught by others to react to it and give it the meaning they taught you to give it, many time unconsciously. Then respond to the situation by providing the meaning you wish to give it. (Remember, reaction is a re-action, it is an action you have taken before. Responding is truly looking at a situation with fresh eyes and giving it a meaning you prefer.) Lastly, reap the effects of the meaning you have given to the situation. Positive meaning in, positive effect out. Negative in, negative out. It really can be that simple, if you let it be that simple.
Once you learn to do this, you have come close to mastering your experience of life. Life can no longer control your emotions because you have gained control over them. You are now the responsible sole creator of your experience.
I believe that the universe is infinite. I know many other people do as well. However, I don’t think many of us actually pause and wonder about what that actually means.
Some things that I have been considering on the subject:
- Since the universe or existence (existence also includes all of the non-physical realms that we are yet unaware of) is infinite, it has no beginning and no end. This is in terms of both time and space. So the universe or some form of it has always existed and always will and also there is no beginning point or end point within it. If we were to travel in an infinite space, we would never get anywhere. We would be no further from the “beginning” or closer to the “end” since they cannot exist in infinity.
- Since the universe is infinite, it cannot technically lose something, gain something or be damaged or destroyed. This is true of all parts within the universe. How can something that is infinite lose or gain something when it already contains everything? Where would the lost parts go? How can the infinite be damaged in any way? The truth is it cannot. This statement may be contradictory to what our experience tells us, but it is true nonetheless. When we think that something is “lost” what we really mean is that it is no longer within our very narrow perspective of the whole universe. Obviously the lost thing is still somewhere within the infinite. It is actually us that have changed perspective within the infinite; not the infinite losing a portion of itself. So even the concept of time and changes from moment to moment are also accomplished in this way. The previous moments of our lives still exist within the totality of the whole. The always have and always will. However, we are currently not focused on them. Time is an illusion. The “future” and “past” all exist now.
- Since the universe is infinite it has no duplicates within it. This means everything within it is completely unique and is its own separate thing. For clarification, I think of a duplicate as something that is exactly the same as another. For this to occur, the two objects would technically need to exist in the same space and time, which would make them the same object. This also means that an object that is moving through space it is actually a completely new object in every increment along its travel! No object ever stays the same. Change is the only constant.
- Since the universe is infinite it needs nothing from any part within it. This is a big one for us because we have been living under the illusion that we must do something or become something in order to be worthy to existence or God or whatever. This is obviously not true since existence already contains everything and cannot need anything at all. This statement also applies to the idea that we believe that one moment of time is dependent on the previous moment or that one part of the infinite is dependent on another part. Once again, this is not true. The infinite is infinite, with every part existing simultaneously and being equal to every other part. There is no inferiority or superiority within the infinite.
- Since the universe is infinite there is no true separation or differentiation within it. We have believed that we are separate from each other and that the objects in our world are also separate. Indeed the existence of time and space are the result of separation between the different portions of existence. This is another illusion in that all the parts are actually part of the infinite and there is no true differentiation. It is paradox that no two things are the same in existence and yet it is all the same one thing. However, it is still true. All is truly one. It is all existence and always will be existence.
I believe once we get a handle on these concepts emotionally and not just intellectually, we will transform much of the negative emotion that we currently experience. These negative emotions are based on illusions of separation within the infinite existence. Once we see that we are always within existence along with everyone and everything else, we will see the pointlessness of the competing and warring we see in our experience today. It will lead to a monumental shift in every aspect of our lives.
The universe has no requirements from us to give us what we want. We didn’t need to do anything special in order to exist and still don’t need to do anything special in order to continue to exist. Existence and all the joy it contains is our birthright. Trust me, if you or I didn’t deserve to exist, we wouldn’t. But here we are, obviously existing, so we must deserve it!
The thought that we must do something to earn bounties from the universe is a thought of unworthiness and lack and is sure to create an experience corresponding with that thought. The thought basically surmises that the universe is lacking in that which we want and will only give us it when we behave a certain way. So now we must compete against one another for the bounties of the universe and for life itself. Not only that, but we must gain the approval of others or incredibly, the approval of ourselves in order to be deserving enough for that which we desire.
This mentality is not true at all, unless we want to believe it is. All we truly “have” to be is ourselves. Of course, we are not required to do this. We cannot be required to be something we already are, much the same as I cannot be required to be 5 foot 10 inches tall. I simply am that tall, end of story.
However, we have slowly taught ourselves to be someone other than who we are. How can we know this? Anytime we experience negative emotions it is a sure sign that we are not being our true natural selves.
Being ourselves is effortless and joyful. It is the easiest thing we will ever do. And it is in our natural state that we fit perfectly into the universe. It is us being who we are created to be. How do we be ourselves? Simply be joyful and unconditionally loving of ourselves and of life. Express our nature in our thoughts, words and behaviour. It really doesn’t need to be more complicated than that.
As we be ourselves, we will see that we finally feel a sense of peace and belonging to the universe. This will be reflected in the experience of our lives. All that we desire will be effortlessly brought to us in a seemingly magical and miraculous way. This will be the sign from the universe telling us what we know to be true in our hearts: that we are loved, that we belong exactly as we are and that we are infinitely deserving. That is a cause for some amazing celebration, I think!
“Give up defining yourself - to yourself or to others. You won’t die. You will come to life. And don’t be concerned with how others define you. When they define you, they are limiting themselves, so it’s their problem. Whenever you interact with people, don’t be there primarily as a function or a role, but as the field of conscious Presence. You can only lose something that you have, but you cannot lose something that you are”—Eckhart Tolle, A New Earth (via eternalconsciousness)
The allowing part is accomplished in this way: In every day, set a time aside of 15 or 20 minutes, not more, for the intent is to quiet the physical thinking mind, and if you ask it to be quiet for more”
than that, it will resist it. 15 or 20 minutes is quite enough. Not one, and then not the next, and then one day, and then not the next. Consistency of a number of days. 20 days will be enough. 20 days, of every day, of sitting for 15 or 20 minutes, will allow the opening of your passageway.
Now, as you are sitting, put your feet on the floor and your hands in your lap, or wherever it is comfortable. Do not lay down,
Do not sit in too comfortable of a chair, you will go to sleep. And if you go to sleep, you are not doing your work, you see, and so, as you are sitting with the intent of “meditation” - that is a label we are not liking very much, and so we’ll tell you what we mean. The intent of this process is to quiet the physical, that you may sense the inner. Which means you must not consciously think. Now, if we say, “Do not think,” the first thing you do is think, for you are wanting to think. Your mechanism is trained to think.
And so, as you are sitting in a quiet room with no distraction of light or sound, with your eyes closed, focus upon your breathing, for as you focus upon that which does require thought, but not very much thought, you will quiet your mind. And so, as you breathe out and breathe in and breathe out and breathe in …. Have you ever hyperventilated? Taking much oxygen in, leaves you feeling tingly, and it is not so different from that.
If you will allow yourself to breathe very deeply, you will find yourself feeling a little bit tingly, and as you are doing it - it may be in the first sitting - you will find yourself feeling a little bit disassociated with what is physical. As you are feeling a little bit numb - you may not even feel the chair beneath you - you have done your work.
Now, if it does not occur in the first or second or even the l0th sitting, do not worry about it. Let that be your objective thought.
"I am wanting to quiet my mind and I will know my mind is quiet when I have achieved numbness," you see? And as you are feeling this numbness, a sort of tingling, different from anything you have known, you will recognize that it is new. Know that you have done your part, and now, your Inner Being will do its part. Your Inner Being, once you have achieved this quieting, will begin the opening of your passageway. Now it is not really hacking a physical passageway through your being. It is not any physical distress or discomfort. It is an alignment of Energy.
You see, every being who is in physical form has the physical body that has been created, that is part of you, but there is an Energy that surges through you. That is the difference between the live ones and the dead ones, you see, (Group laughter) and you are accustomed to this Energy that surges through you. You have known it since the day you were born, and you say, “This is what it feels like to be alive,” you see. But now there is a new Energy that’ll begin to blend with that Energy, and that is what this opening of the passageway that we are speaking of is about. And it is not your work. You do not need to consciously know how to do it. You do not need to know what colors the chakras are, and where they are and what they mean. You have many points of alignment within your being. Do not get involved with it consciously. Let your Inner Being, that knows far more than your conscious mind will ever know about this subject … Let your Inner Being do it. All you must do is quiet your physical. Your Inner Being will do the rest. And as your Inner Being is doing its work, you will be…
Let us begin again. We are putting this in order for you, upon this recording, so that you may listen to it as you are achieving each step: Your first objective is to sit quietly and achieve the numbness. Once the numbness has been achieved, in however many days it takes to accomplish that, then know that your passageway is being opened, and you will know that it is being opened; you will feel it being opened because you will feel sensations. You will feel a twitch here and a twinge there. Nothing that is painful, but you will say, “Oh, they are working on my nose! I can feel them in my ” just a little sensation, and all it is the new Energy that is flowing through you, and you will notice the difference here and there. Once you are receiving movement (head rolling around on neck) your passageway is open. And once your passageway is open, then there is not a need for this meditation process any more. Many continue it because they like it.
There are many purposes for meditation. Our purpose, as it has been expressed here, is for the opening of the passageway. Now what does that mean? When the passageway is open, what does that mean? Does that mean that anything that is out there may pass through it? Indeed, it does not. It means that you are opening the passageway between you and you. Your Inner Being, the being that sends forth emotion to you already, will now be able to send, not only clearer emotion, but thought. And it also means you will like this very much, (To Questioner: For you are very much not wanting to be a selfish being; it is very important to you that you do your part in all things) - you will be benefiting ALL-THAT-is because once the passageway is open, not only do you benefit by the knowing that comes forth from the inner dimension, but all that is within the inner dimension benefits more clearly by the experience that you are participating within, for the passageway allows information and experience to pass both ways, you see?
THIS IS LITERALLY THE AWAKENING THAT HAS BEEN TALKED ABOUT. Most beings do not know that it is something for everyone to experience. They think there will be one who will be king, who will have all of the great experience, and the rest will worship, and it is not that way. It is that every being will receive this awakening, this blending of Inner Being and conscious physical being, and as you accomplish this, this physical experience - in which you are focused, in which you have great intent to be focused, in which you are wanting to be focused - will be enhanced beyond your conscious understanding in this time. Your -physical experience will be more delicious than it has ever been before. Your joy will be ecstasy. Your love will be intense. Your feeling of peace will be beyond anything you have sensed or felt before, you see? All that you experience will be more.
Your guidance will be keener, and if you allow it, you will be manifester in a much more dramatic and faster way than ever before.
As you envision that which you want, it will be, more quickly, you see? In your physical life experience there is wondrousness to behold, and it begins with the conscious allowing of the opening of the passageway.
We are appreciative of your question, for it has brought forth, in this discussion, that which is our dominant reason for interacting with those who are physical. To lead you, if it is your wanting, to that.
“The brain deals exclusively with camouflage patterns, transforming vitality into physical environmental camouflage patterns. The mind deals with basic principles inherent on all planes. The brain is itself part of the camouflage pattern, and can be interpreted and probed by physical instruments. The mind cannot be probed by physical instruments. It cannot even be found by physical instruments. The mind is the connective. It is here that the secrets of the universe will be discovered, and the mind itself is the tool of discovery.”—Seth through Jane Roberts
“Suffering is not holding you. You are holding suffering. When you become good at the art of letting suffering go, then you’ll come to realize how unnecessary it was for you to drag those burdens around with you. You’ll see that no one else other than you was responsible. The truth is that existence wants your life to become a festival.”—Osho (via lifebalance)
“Time and again human consciousness fixates, and slams the door on its greatest gift, the open-endedness of infinite possibility. as a result we do not experience reality but merely our concept of it.”—Jose Arguelles (via tessa-jane)
“You don’t need to change yourself; you only need to love yourself. Your Higher Self is leading you to all the things you need to do to grow spiritually. It is always there, guiding and loving you. You have all the answers within you. Spiritual growth is an individual path. It is important to follow your own inner wisdom about what to do and when to do it. Realize that whatever you are doing right now is perfect for you.”—Orin (via nirvikalpa)
“Summary of the Science of Getting Rich.
THERE is a thinking stuff from which all things are made, and which, in its original state, permeates, penetrates, and fills the interspaces of the universe.
A thought in this substance produces the thing that is imaged by the thought.
Man can form things in his thought, and by impressing his thought upon formless substance can cause the thing he thinks about to be created.
In order to do this, man must pass from the competitive to the creative mind; otherwise he cannot be in harmony with the Formless Intelligence, which is always creative and never competitive in spirit.
Man may come into full harmony with the Formless Substance by entertaining a lively and sincere gratitude for the blessings it bestows upon him. Gratitude unifies the mind of man with the intelligence of Substance, so that man’s thoughts are received by the Formless. Man can remain upon the creative plane only by uniting himself with the Formless Intelligence through a deep and continuous feeling of gratitude .
Man must form a clear and definite mental image of the things he wishes to have, to do, or to become; and he must hold this mental image in his thoughts, while being deeply grateful to the Supreme that all his desires are granted to him. The man who wishes to get rich must spend his leisure hours in contemplating his Vision, and in earnest thanksgiving that the reality is being given to him. Too much stress cannot be laid on the importance of frequent contemplation of the mental image, coupled with unwavering faith and devout gratitude. This is the process by which the impression is given to the Formless, and the creative forces set in motion.
The creative energy works through the established channels of natural growth, and of the industrial and social order. All that is included in his mental image will surely be brought to the man who follows the instructions given above, and whose faith does not waver. What he wants will come to him through the ways of established trade and commerce.
In order to receive his own when it shall come to him, man must be active; and this activity can only consist in more than filling his present place. He must keep in mind the Purpose to get rich through the realization of his mental image. And he must do, every day, all that can be done that day, taking care to do each act in a successful manner. He must give to every man a use value in excess of the cash value he receives, so that each transaction makes for more life; and he must so hold the Advancing Thought that the impression of increase will be communicated to all with whom he comes in contact.
The men and women who practice the foregoing instructions will certainly get rich; and the riches they receive will be in exact proportion to the definiteness of their vision, the fixity of their purpose, the steadiness of their faith, and the depth of their gratitude.”—The Science of Getting Rich
A book written in 1910 about the Law of Attraction. Pretty interesting to see that there were others who were inspired to learn about the underlying workings of the universe. It has definitely been an inspiring read for me.
“You are not who you think you are. Right now you probably think that you are your body or your personality. However, this is not true. Both your body and your personality are transient and are limited ideas within the true whole you.
You are simply the infinite, boundless awareness that plays with the tools you call “personality” and “body” so that you may create the experience that is human life.
The real you is unchanging, infinite and eternal. That is your truth. Everything else is essentially an illusion.”—
“Most beings in your physical world are not seeking. Most have adopted beliefs that were present around them on the day that they were born upon this earth. And most physical beings have done no real searching or thinking — on their own. And so, as they do not search — it is not surprising that they do not find.”—
“Believe that there are no one sided coins. Believe that you fit exactly as you are. Believe that if you have a desire then there also must exist that which will fulfill that desire. Believe in the perfection of your existence and the perfection of the universe.”—
“Everyone talks about changing this and changing that. It is not about changing anything. It is about creating completely new versions of the things you want to change. Even a small difference in something is a complete difference.
So it is not that you or anything is changing from moment to moment, but that you and it are completely new versions in each moment. This distinction can be very useful in creating transitions from one experience to another with little to no struggle.”—
“The whole process of mental adjustment and atonement can be summed up in one word, gratitude.
First, you believe that there is one Intelligent Substance, from which all things proceed; second, you believe that this Substance gives you everything you desire; and third, you relate yourself to it by a feeling of deep and profound gratitude.
Many people who order their lives rightly in all other ways are kept in poverty by their lack of gratitude. Having received one gift from God, they cut the wires which connect them with Him by failing to make acknowledgment.”—
“Never look at the visible supply; look always at the limitless riches in Formless Substance, and KNOW that they are coming to you as fast as you can receive and use them.Nobody, by cornering the visible supply, can prevent you from getting what is yours.”—
“God wants those who can play music to have pianos and every other instrument, and to have the means to cultivate their talents to the fullest extent; He wants those who can appreciate beauty to be able to surround themselves with beautiful things; He wants those who can discern truth to have every opportunity to travel and observe; He wants those who can appreciate dress to be beautifully clothed, and those who can appreciate good food to be luxuriously fed.”—
“Do you know how special you are? I don’t think you do.
You are so special that the infinite universe would not be infinite without little old you. Without you the universe would be incomplete. That is how integral you are. The universe knows this.
That’s why it loves you unconditionally. It has always allowed you and will continue to allow you to do, believe or have anything you choose. It will even allow you to believe that you aren’t special. That is how special and unconditionally loved you are.
Because you are unconditionally loved, the universe doesn’t need anything from you. Just the fact that you exist is enough. As you continue to exist for eternity and live in whatever way you want, you reinforce the infiniteness of the universe. You fit exactly as you are.
The universe rejoices at every little thought you run through your mind, every breath you take, every action you make. It adores you in ways that you cannot yet imagine.
Take this to heart when you are feeling any self-doubt. Close your eyes and feel this adoration. Look at yourself through the eyes of the universe. Love yourself unconditionally and you will get in harmony with the infinite. Through this unconditional love will you find your truth.”—
“The realm of consciousness is much vaster than thought can grasp. When you no longer believe everything you think, you step out of thought and see clearly that the thinker is not who you are”—Eckhart Tolle (via eternalconsciousness)
“One of the most spiritual acts you can do is to simply live your life to the fullest. It doesn’t need to be any more complicated than that. Live your life the way you want to live it and don’t worry about being “spiritual”. Remember, you are a spirit having a human experience; not a human having a spiritual experience.”—
“The infinite vibratory levels, the dimensions of interconnectedness are without end. There is nothing independent. All beings and things are residents in your awareness.”—Alex gray (via eternalconsciousness, trashedart)
“I have repeatedly said that in my opinion the idea of a personal God is a childlike one, but I do not share the crusading spirit of the professional atheist whose fervor is mostly due to a painful act of liberation from the fetters of religious indoctrination received in youth. I prefer an attitude of humility corresponding to the weakness of our intellectual understanding of nature and of our own being.”—Albert Einstein (via eternalconsciousness)
“Observe your own body. It breathes. You breathe when you are asleep, when you are no longer conscious of your own ideas of self-identity. Who, then, is breathing? The collection of information that you mistakenly think is you is not the protagonist in this drama called the breath. In fact, you are not breathing; breath is naturally happening to you. You can purposely end your own life, but you cannot purposely keep your own life going. The expression, ‘my life’ is actually an oxymoron, a result of ignorance and mistaken assumption. You don’t possess life; life expresses itself through you. Your body is a flower that life let bloom, a phenomenon created by life.”—Ilchi Lee (via eternalconsciousness)
“To regret one’s own experiences is to arrest one’s own development. To deny one’s own experiences is to put a lie into the lips of one’s own life. It is no less than a denial of the soul.”—Oscar Wilde (via eternalconsciousness, suzywire)
“Peace begins when you smile, when you help, when you listen.
Peace begins when you breathe, when you breathe, when you breathe.
When you breathe slowly and consciously, you quiet your body’s stress chemistry, you begin to relax, you create peace.
Imagine everyone on earth breathing, relaxing, creating peace.
Peace begins right now, this moment.
Peace begins with you.”—Marc Rosenbush (via journeytoenlightenment)
“An adult is one who had lost the grace, the freshness, the innocence of the child, who is no longer capable of feeling pure joy, who makes everything complicated, who spreads suffering everywhere, who is afraid of being happy, and who, because it is easier to bear, has gone back to sleep. The wise man is a happy child.”—Arnaud Desjardins (via journeytoenlightenment)
